Student Orchestra

Sign up now to participate in our first ever BVM Student Orchestra, a large group student based ensemble available at no extra charge to students enrolled for either monthly or quarterly private lessons at BVM. This group will meet once a week starting in March 2025 and rehearse for several seasonal concert opportunities. Plus, we can help you with affordable, quality instrument rental for all instruments listed through our partners at K&S Music.

We are looking to fill chairs for the following instruments:

• Clarinet (6)

• Flute (4)

• Saxophone (3-4)

• Trumpets (3)

• Trombone (1)

• French Horn (2)

• Violin (3)

• Percussion (2) 

 

We will be running this program much like a public school band, however will be allowing much more student input when choosing songs, and through individual lessons, much more individualized attention towards skill development directly inline with their application within the ensemble. Our staff will also be able to provide specific attention to sections (i.e. clarinets, trumpets, etc) as needed in small group instruction (sectionals). 

 

All lesson rates can be found on our policy and weekly ensemble rehearsals/sectionals will be held at no additional charge starting in March 2025. This will allow students a few months to become familiar with their instruments before beginning rehearsals.
